Today Ruru looked at what we can and can't share online. Personal vs Private. Firstly we had to decide what the difference was.
This is our table we came up with.
We also had a look at, our new friend, Cooper's information he has put online. It turns out he has lot of private information... Ooopppss!
It's good learning for us. Now we know how to stay safe online.

ReplyDeleteRoom 6 here! We did the same lesson on Friday! Some of us are still putting our blog posts together about what we learnt but they should be ready by Monday! You have a solid list of information to remind us what to keep private online. Miss Morgan came and taught us Cybersmart last year but unfortunately she doesn't teach our class anymore. Does she teach your class? Have you met her dog Cooper? And, yes... he definitely needs to take off some of that private information he shared online! Especially his password!

Room 8 did that lesson on Wednesday. We also watched a short film about a girl who gave out too much private information. She was also putting selfies online that she had taken in her bedroom. We discussed how the bedroom is one of the private places we should not take photos. We have not met Cooper, but would like to one day. Maybe we will see him at the beach!
